Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2025

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Willow collects, uses, and shares information when you visit willowlabs.co (the "Site").

2. Information We Collect

We intentionally keep data collection minimal:

  • Usage Data – standard web‑server logs (IP address*, browser type, referring pages, timestamps) and aggregated analytics events.
  • Cookies – small text files needed for basic analytics and site performance (see §6).

*We do not tie IP addresses to individual identities, and we truncate or hash IPs where supported by our analytics provider.

We do not currently request or store your name, email, phone number, or company details on the Site. If you voluntarily email us (e.g., hello@willowlabs.co) your message will include whatever personal information you provide, and that data will be handled as client correspondence rather than Site data.

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited data above to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
  • analyse aggregate traffic patterns to improve content and performance;
  • detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that host the Site or provide analytics, under confidentiality obligations;
  • authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Aggregated analytics (non‑identifiable) may be kept longer for trend analysis.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use a privacy‑respecting analytics tool that sets first‑party cookies with a 13‑month lifetime. No cross‑site tracking or marketing cookies are set. You may block cookies in your browser without losing core functionality.

7. International Transfers

The Site is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request data portability. Contact us at privacy@willowlabs.co to exercise these rights.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
